I am busy with my school project, and will probably be for the next month until we hand it in the 14th of June. That leaves even less time to come up with an obscure blog about something weird. So instead this will just be a small update about things going on ... and showing of my latest drawings.
For a few months I have been creating yet another PHP framework from scratch. It is heavily inspired by the framework behind this site, created by me, and the one we use for LoLBase.net, created by my school project partner, Tuan. About a week ago I started to transform this site into the new framework and it is going great. Everything looks so much prettier ... in the code that is. The process is not done yet, and it is very likely that it will not be in the coming month either. I have a couple of other sites in progress that also uses the framework, and maybe I will tell you about that some day :P .
LoLBase.net is going tremendously great. We have run into one performance problem after another because of the huge interest we are getting. We have solved most of them but have now decided that we need our own full-time server to handle the pressure. To accomplish this we have started a donation campaign in hope that some of the users would help us, and some have already done so :o ! It is quite annoying that school requires so much time so we have trouble finding the time to actually do some work on lolbase, and the list of feature request is loooong.
Small update? Yeah, whatever - now for some drawings. Again inspired heavily by anime and mange :P . My scanner really suck so there is random shadows and missing shadows on all images :( .
Click on the thumbs to see a larger version (preparations for a gallery I am also making for the new site :P).
Louise from Zero no Tsukaima and her whip.
Fan service! Really do not understand Japan's fascination with bloody noses?
Random girl with a gun. Her left hand were annoying so I made her cry to move it up there :P .
Tsukimiya Ayu from Kanon. As always I did not capture her face in a good way so she is not really recognizable :P .
Satsuki Kitaoji from Ichigo 100% (a classic ecchi harem high school romance comedy manga).

I've "released" a new gallery.
Currently it only contains images from my trip to San Francisco and a few drawings. The reason is I still need to do the administration part of the gallery in order to add more images and albums wihtout doing it manually. So what's online is actually only for testing :) .
I will add the possibility to write comments to each image in the future aswell.
If you find something weird or have an idea for a feature please tell me so I can play with it.

"Then tell it to shut the fork up!"
- unknown, maybe it was me? :o

Here's a new drawing. I draw it before I went to London. This time I've scanned it in with an actual scanner! High def! :P
As usual I've redrawn and colored it in Photoshop. This time all lines a much thinner than before.

I'm done drawing the school girl (well I'm never done drawing but I have to stop some day). And just because I can I managed to finnish another drawing aswell! Aren't you lucky...

There's several errors in the first image, namely the proportions.
I'm thinking of making a self portrait next... however I have realized that drawing a real life person using anime technichs is nearly impossible so it will probably just be some random guy with the same hair and eye colors :P .
Blog number 100 in my "new" system! At least with the id 100 :P .

First a bit about the school :P . A few days ago my group and me were at the exam for the project we've done this semester. We passed with five 10's (one for me :P) and one 7. It was a bit of suprice to us that the project was good enough to give us these grades :) . Now only one exam is left and I'm currently reading for that :P .
While not reading, I've watched several anime series. It gave me an idea to use some of the techniques to draw my self. That way it is easier to draw something that isn't realistic but still looks good... realism suck!
So just wanted to show you a current work in progress drawing (it is work in progress since I really should be studying :P). This time it is drawn without any "model", pure "free drawing" or whatever you can call it. Since I'm using different anime techniques (such as "moe") why not draw something typical anime like a japanese school girl.
The one on the left is the original drawing (scanned with a digital camera), and the one on the right is the WIP photoshop drawing with a bit of coloring.
