That's right, I'm done!

19½ years of school (and half a year of nothing) is over and I can finally call my self: Master of Science in Software Engineering! ... or something like that.

I ended the final exam with a 10. The second highest grade on the new scale (equals B on the ECTS grading scale) and one grade higher than we (me and my group mate who also got 10) expected. So it all went well!

Our censor for the exam were Erik Frøkjær from University of Copenhagen, who is kind of an expert in the area our project were in (enough to have the media contact him for expert opinions). Apparently our report impressed him enough, because neither of us did an outstanding job at the actual exam :P .

... but who cares, it is over, I am done, no more university! Now there is only the future... damn :/

A quick update to let you know about the upcoming exams period. I have been way to busy to write anything clever here for a while.

We, me and my group m8 Tuan, hand in our project (report and product) on the 14th of June. Then we have our project exam (the only exam this time) on the 28th, and finally a ceremony where we are handed our diploma, or whatever, on the 30th. And then I have a candidate degree in Software (cand.polyt.)!

LoLBase.net have received surprisingly many (to me at least) donations and we have already bought a new server and put up a brand new design! Everything is awesome until yesterday where the main database suddenly disappeared ... wtf?! So we are currently reconstructing the data from backups and archives. With the move, the new design and the lost database we have been quite busy with that too.

Back to work...

I am busy with my school project, and will probably be for the next month until we hand it in the 14th of June. That leaves even less time to come up with an obscure blog about something weird. So instead this will just be a small update about things going on ... and showing of my latest drawings.

For a few months I have been creating yet another PHP framework from scratch. It is heavily inspired by the framework behind this site, created by me, and the one we use for LoLBase.net, created by my school project partner, Tuan. About a week ago I started to transform this site into the new framework and it is going great. Everything looks so much prettier ... in the code that is. The process is not done yet, and it is very likely that it will not be in the coming month either. I have a couple of other sites in progress that also uses the framework, and maybe I will tell you about that some day :P .

LoLBase.net is going tremendously great. We have run into one performance problem after another because of the huge interest we are getting. We have solved most of them but have now decided that we need our own full-time server to handle the pressure. To accomplish this we have started a donation campaign in hope that some of the users would help us, and some have already done so :o ! It is quite annoying that school requires so much time so we have trouble finding the time to actually do some work on lolbase, and the list of feature request is loooong.

Small update? Yeah, whatever - now for some drawings. Again inspired heavily by anime and mange :P . My scanner really suck so there is random shadows and missing shadows on all images :( .

Click on the thumbs to see a larger version (preparations for a gallery I am also making for the new site :P).

Random girl with a gun. Her left hand were annoying so I made her cry to move it up there :P .

Yet another boring update - as I have been to busy to do any interesting writing with a twist.

I have made small updates to several parts of the site. None of which have any great importance, so no fun there :P .
The game list have had even more additions including both Max Payne games, and all three Company of Heroes games. Both through Steam, which of course does not work as it should, so Company of Heroes wont start :/ .

J0k3 have "forced" me to take a look at Trine. It looks interesting, but I am gonna wait to see if Steam feels like having a sale on it in the near future (else it would become the most expensive game I have ever bought through Steam :o ).

As mentioned in my last entry, I were playing around with a match and player statistics website for League of Legends together with my group mate, Døng. It is now online and going great! Already contains almost 33000 players in over 6800 matches. We have called it LoLBase.net and it works by having players upload their log files from the game. To make this process easier we have also created a small upload application (finally I can use my skills in C# for something used by someone else than me). These log files contain a lot of information about the played games. In less than a month the database for this site have become more than 30 times larger than for everything I have done on 109.dk ... in the last several years. We will continue to add features to the site and maybe some day it will actually become general knowledge in the LoL community ;) . Oh and of course you can also see my stats :P .

Now why did I call this entry for "Exams Update" when I have not talked about any exams at all? Good question... I passed both my exams this semester. Only have one semester left and one exam - and then I have a masters degree in Software Engineering! yeah bitch!

Today I was at my first exam this summer. It was a re-exam. The third try on something stupid and simple I just couldn't get right the first two times :P . Anyway I passed! Bujaaa. This means I'm finally done with all the exams from the first three years at the university, which again means I now have a Bachelor in Software! I'm only missing one year now to have a Master in Software (or Candidate, not sure what the hell these are called in a more formal term :/ ). Hopefully I wont fail anymore exams and be finished on time :P .

This summer I have two more exams:
June 8th: Software Engineering [SOE] - PASSED
June 16th: Project exam - PASSED, 7 (C)
June 24th: Software Inovation [SWI] - PASSED, 7 (C)
